Its characteristic is that it does not need to contact with the actual product, and accurate geometric measurement is achieved by grasping the boundary features and surfaces. Products. But with a good image measuring instrument, how can the camera manufacturer ensure the accuracy and efficiency of measuring products?



1. Ensure that the image measuring instrument is in the effective calibration cycle: the image measuring equipment will have obvious measurement uncertainty when leaving the factory. This uncertainty represents the range of errors that may occur when actually measuring the product, but after the equipment has been used for a period of time. Whether the product can still be measured with sufficient accuracy requires an annual calibration certificate. Generally, image measuring instruments are the same as traditional three coordinate measuring instruments. This is an annual precision calibration method. It is verified by the manufacturer or authorized equipment calibration mechanism and can be traced back to international standards. Whether the accuracy reaches the standard depends on the specific value of the accuracy report. Of course, you can also ask a third-party verification agency to perform accuracy verification and labeling, but this process is not necessary because the return accuracy of the equipment cannot be guaranteed. 2. Be familiar with part drawings and measurement requirements: the program programming method of image measuring instrument of mobile bridge CMM is the same as that of CMM. A three-dimensional coordinate system can be established, and geometric tolerances can be evaluated under coordinate reference. Therefore, in combination with measurement requirements and reference locations, place components and measure as many dimensions as possible at one access location to improve detection efficiency. For the feature boundary or plane that becomes the reference, if there are good boundary conditions and flatness, the measurement location and repeatability of other features will be well protected. In addition, the programmer of the imager needs to be familiar with the boundary position of the corresponding product drawing to prevent the wrong boundary.

3. Preparation before programming: In order to ensure the batch use of the measurement program, without reference, first locate the workpiece, find stable features, find the origin, and point out the axial and zero height respectively. Recording and ensuring consistency are necessary conditions for implementing batch measurement.

4. Experience accumulation in image measurement: for different product boundaries, different light sources and light intensities need to be matched, such as contour edges, weak edges, chamfers, etc. The measurement personnel of image measurement instruments need to constantly accumulate experience.

5. Optimization of image measurement program: according to the measurement needs and measurement magnification, the gantry type image measuring instrument will arrange the measurement path as a whole, so that the measurement platform can complete the measurement in order or path, clockwise or counterclockwise, and compress the single measurement time as much as possible.
